Bridging the Past & Present: A Historical Perspective of Hawthorne School and Community
Goal: To bring current and former students, community members & school staff together with artists to create legacy artworks.
Using community coffee houses , workshops, and storytelling visits as a way to engage the broader community around Hawthorne school ( including past students and staff), this project will bring together students and their community members under the guidance and facilitation of community-based artists.
Project Artists: Rose Adams, Marijke Simons, Susan Paterson, Natasha MacLean.
This project is partnering with community organizations such as Dartmouth Players, Dartmouth Heritage Museum and the Alderney Gate Library, as well as the Hawthorn School Arts Committee.
