Led by Lara MacKenize, a passionate music teacher and advocate for school and community bands, this collaboration titled 'Music 4 Life' is between the Sackville High School  Band program and the Sackville Community Band.  Joint rehearsals, meetings with a composer, and sectional workshops, will culminating in an exciting concert on May 25th, 2011.  Local musicians from the Sackville Community Band will also work with students in instrument specific workshops. The project will also support bringing junior high school participants from feeder schools to the Sackville High School Band and Feeder Workshop.
